Γεια σας! I’m Andriana, a modern Greek Philology specialist with a deep love for unlocking the beauty of language - both ancient and modern.
My degree trained me to analyze Greek through literature, history, and linguistics, but teaching lets me share this knowledge dynamically. I’ll help you connect with the language meaningfully.
As a lifelong language learner (currently tackling Korean!), I blend academic rigor with cultural curiosity. My travels—from Check Republic to the Netherlands—taught me how languages thrive through real-world exchange. Let’s make your Greek journey equally vibrant!

I aspire to communicate my passion for language to my students and I’m always curious about what the students’ passions are. Thus, I encourage them to share their interests so that we can build our classes in a fun and unique way together!
I like to function as a teammate and a friend, guiding the student to construct blocks of knowledge through active engagement with the language.
In conclusion: grammar is important and I love it! But at the same time I like to keep it fun and casual!我的課程內容與教學風格
Both for modern and ancient Greek lessons are based on interactivity: the method I use is participatory learning. My role as a teacher is to guide the student to the generation of learning, through a series of engaging activities, appropriate for each level (for example, focusing on the alphabet and correct pronunciation for beginners, mastering grammar for intermediate students and practicing conversation to boost the confidence of advanced students).我的教材

Another great lesson as always! I'm learning a lot with Andriana and very fast - no easy feat given how notoriously tough Greek is, but she knows just how to break things down into simple, easy-to-learn parts that make it easier to remember than to forget!
