Hello! My name is Isis, and I'm from Texas in the United States. Although I grew up in the southern part of the US, I don’t have a stereotypical southern accent like you might hear in western movies. Instead, my accent is very neutral and easy to understand– similar to the clear pronunciation you hear on the news. I was raised in a bilingual home, speaking both English and French fluently, which has given me a deep appreciation for languages and cultures. Having spent much of my life in diverse and international communities, I feel at ease connecting with people from various backgrounds, customs, and accents.我的教學經歷
I am a TEFL certified English teacher and I have over five years of experience teaching and tutoring English to both children and adults, both online and in-person. I’ve taught English in the US and across Europe, gaining valuable insights into the needs of diverse learners. As a teacher, I have conducted American English cultural workshops in France, Belgium and Italy. I've also taught in various ESL institutions throughout Italy from kindergartners to high schoolers. I've prepared students from Japan and Spain for their English entrance exams including the IELTS and MET exams. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My online lessons primarily focus on conversational English practice. The main goal is to dive right into speaking about a variety of topics. This approach helps improve sentence structure, pronunciation, and overall fluency in a practical, engaging way. I'm a very easy-going, friendly and patient person, I understand how to adapt my teaching style to different personalities. Furthermore, I understand the importance of cultural sensitivity when teaching. In my lessons, you can expect to learn new vocabulary and improve your ability to understand and communicate effectively in English by practicing conversing with a native speaker.我的教材

Today, we talked about "advice".
It was an awesome experience for me because we shared a meaningful definition of "wise" and cool new vicabularies like "crippling" ,"social contract"! I am always fascinated with her intelligence throughout the lessons. I strongly recommend her not only to English learners, but also to someone who is eager to be "wise".
