Benoit is by far the best tutor I have learned with on this platform across all the languages I have taken lessons for. He is really organised and unlike a lot of tutors you don't feel like he'd rather be doing something else, he is completely present in the lesson and this really makes you feel at ease. Even though Benoit is a 'community tutor' it certainly doesn't feel like it- he knows the French language inside and out and even when I ask him really specific questions he can give me an answer on the spot. He is really good at clarifying differences between the function of words/grammar that is really similar between English/French and Spanish/French which is helping me to avoid slipping up with false friends. Benoit also lets you influence the type of lessons you want and asked me in the first/second lessons my goals and whatnot. Basically if you are learning French or want to learn French, just book a lesson with Benoit. You honestly won't find many tutors like him online.

Benoît is so sweet! He really takes the time to get to know his students and what they need. He gave me some valuable insight on French linguistics that no one has ever taken the time to explain to me before and is so patient with all of my questions. Benoit is an amazing linguist. He is completely knowledgeable of the intricacies and nuances of the French language. I could not ask for a better teacher. Benoit Bandrier is also a marvelous person.
