Hello! My name is Eva and I'm a native Greek speaker from Crete, currently living in Germany. While I’m taking a break from my research career, I’m dedicating time to studying German and teaching Greek at the Volkshochschule (VHS). I’m a physicist with a Master’s degree in Materials Science and a strong passion for arts, music, language learning, and connecting with people from different cultures. Having studied and worked in international environments, I truly understand the joys and challenges of learning a new language. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, exploring art, listening to music, and having thoughtful conversations.我的教學經歷
As someone who has learned and used foreign languages in both academic and everyday settings, I know how important confidence and enjoyment are in the learning process. I’m currently teaching Greek courses at the VHS in Germany and I can understand how learners experience the language from their side. My goal is to make our lessons fun, relaxed, and focused on real communication. I offer conversational Greek lessons where we focus on topics that genuinely interest you such as science, art, music, travel, everyday life, or anything you're passionate about. Speaking is the key to fluency, so we’ll work on expressing ideas naturally and confidently. Each session is tailored to your level and goals. We can also work with written texts, videos, or even music lyrics if that suits your style. I believe language learning should feel natural, useful, and inspiring!我的教材
