My name is Yannis. I am a native Greek and I live in the small island of "Chios" in the Northern Aegean. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy and Educational Sciences, a Master's Degree in "New Forms of Education and Learning" (which is mostly related to online, adult education and lifelong learning using the information & communication technologies). I am currently studying for my second master's in "Education with use of New Technologies". I am a certified Greek language instructor and also qualified for Special Education and School Psychology. For the past 5 years I have been teaching greek to people from all over the world. It's certainly a job I love doing! Dedicated educator with a solid foundation in education sciences and a passion for fostering critical thinking and creativity through language learning. Proficient in designing personalized lessons that promote active engagement, linguistic proficiency, and academic growth. Committed to empowering students with communication skills that transcend the classroom, enabling them to become thoughtful, articulate, and culturally aware individuals. Ioannis is an excellent teacher. I am glad that I found him! He is professional and always well-prepared with a variety of exercises for our lessons. It was a very lucky choice I made with Iannis. Iannis is a very passionate teacher and made me comfortable since the first lesson. He has the talent to keep you motivated even during difficult topics of the language. His lessons are very well structured and Iannis also understand how to challenge me while still having fun. I am thankful for having Iannis as a teacher and strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to experience how to learn Greek with a solid and creative teacher. Five starts!!!
