My name is Hilialdo. I am a psychologist, born in Mexico, and currently living in Argentina. I have worked at universities as a professor; however, I am now very excited to support people in learning Spanish. I usually spend my time reading, working, and playing basketball. I enjoy humor, tacos, traveling the world, and teaching.

I am a very calm person; I don’t like to force things and adapt to each person’s pace. In my classes, I aim to create an atmosphere of humor and warmth, but most importantly, a space that fosters a sense of safety and confidence.

I want to hear about your goals and challenges so we can create a personalized plan together. We can start with simple conversations or vocabulary based on your interests. I prefer a constructivist approach, where you discover the logic of the language without feeling pressured. Rather than focusing on memorization, we’ll aim for immersion and integration through dialogue and humor.

Ha sido un placer charlar y aprender español con Hilialdo. Es una persona con muchos conocimientos y es intuitivo en respeto a dar sugerencias sin sobrecorregir. Gracias a él, puedo sostener una conversación detallada y a veces se me olvido que estoy hablando en otro idioma.

I have completed five conversation classes with Hilialdo. I highly recommend him.
Hilialdo is very positive and encouraging. He keeps the conversation flowing with thoughtful follow-up questions, without making it feel pressured.
His corrections are helpful and kind, and he does not interrupt me when I am trying to express my thoughts. He also gives examples of different ways to say the same idea.

Hilialdo provides a save environment of learning that I really like. He asks great questions to guide you through the language, and corrects you in a fluid manner. He provides a space that is fun and comfortable, which makes learning so much effortless and sticks.
I've been having classes with him for a while now and I feel that my speaking and listening skills have improved tremendously. I highly recommend him to anyone who asks!
