Experienced teacher My name is Letizia, I am 28 and I live in Florence. I have a degree in Languages, Literatures and Intercultural Studies at the University of Florence, currently studying for a Master degree in Teaching Italian Language and Culture at the University of Ca' Foscari, Venice. I am also a mother and a worker, I have travelled in Canada, USA, and Scotland. I love culture, art, and sports. We will find plenty of topics to work on and I will always try my best to meet your needs and interests. My priority is to make my students comfortable and my lessons enjoyable. Therefore, I would use an informal and friendly register if you are a beginner and do at least two or three activities during the lesson, to keep your attention, interest, and productivity high. If you are a beginner, we will start with basic conversations. I find important to combine oral and written language at the same time, using also graphic support. Everything can help you learn as long as it captivates your interest! If you like music, we can translate and study the words of a song; in this way, you will be more likely to ‘do your homework’ listening to the same song everyday and probably to many more. Learning the words and meanings of one single song, allows you to extend your vocabulary and acquire sentences structure, as well as improving your pronunciation. If you are an advanced learner, we can have formal conversations and excercise your writing and grammar.
