I am a native German and was born in Northern Germany where I spent all my childhood years.
After completing my university degree as well as my teacher training course in English and German, I moved to the UK where I have been working as a German teacher and translator.
In my spare time, I love to learn languages and find out about other cultures. I am very interested in all aspects of life. Also, I really enjoy helping people reach their potential. So, teaching German is much more than a job for me and something I am passionate about.我的教學經歷
I am a fully qualified specialist German language coach with decades of experience preparing learners from all over the world for a variety of German exams – from GCSE and A-Level exams to Bachelor degrees and to accreditation exams for medical professionals.
Having taught learners of all ages and abilities, and from all continents and a variety of cultures, I am aware of the challenges students face when learning the German language. As each individual is different, I adapt the teaching method and class material to each learner’s needs as much as possible.我的課程內容與教學風格
In my lessons, I employ a holistic teaching approach that focuses on communication. Therefore, all lessons are tailored to the student’s needs while covering all language aspects to build a solid foundation. This helps the student gain more confidence in using the German language in a variety of contexts and situations.我的教材

Beate is such a friendly and patient teacher. She takes the extra time to finish the content from the class, even if it means extending by another 10 minutes.
I enjoy how she encourages me to practice my speaking.

An Beate gibt es vieles, was ich wirklich zu schätzen weiß.
Sie ist äußerst professionell und hat nicht nur hervorragendes Material zur Gestaltung von Gesprächen über verschiedenste Themen, sondern versteht es auch, sehr interessante Fragen zu stellen, die wirklich zum Nachdenken anregen.
Was ich jedoch am meisten an ihr schätze, ist ihre ruhige, herzliche Art und das Gefühl, bei ihr stets gut aufgehoben zu sein.
Ich kann sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

I really enjoy my sessions with Beate! She’s really organised and explains everything so clearly, but what I appreciate most is how comfortable and supported I feel in her lessons. She’s a fantastic teacher who knows exactly how to guide and encourage you at the right moments. Our conversations are always fun and interesting, and she gives me the space and confidence I need to build my speaking skills. I’m so grateful for her help and always look forward to our sessions! :)
