Hello everyone! My name is Helen. I was born and raised in a small city of Russia, Akhtubinsk. After that, I studied linguistics in Volgograd State University for 4 years. For me, learning a new language is a great opportunity to know more about different cultures and people.
I speak fluently Spanish. This is my favourite language and that's the reason why I decided to teach it here on Italki.
Currently I'm living in Ecuador. I`m happily married and love this country. Never imagined I could be in such a beautiful place.

I really enjoy talking and I'd be happy to teach you how to speak properly Spanish and Russian.
My teaching method is very simple. Practice makes it perfect!
We'll practice new vocabulary, grammar rules and speaking. I can also teach you about my culture, music, movies and places to visit in Russia and Ecuador.

I’ve written a ton of reviews already but Elena really is a great teacher. I struggle with proper stress on Russian words when reading. Elena then rewrote the lesson by replacing O with A and it literally required my brain lol. Really fun teacher with awesome techniques.

Елена приятная в общении девушка, сразу нашла для меня подходящее задание, хотя я совершенно не владею испанским, мы провели с пользой занятие и я уже выучила новые слова. Елена отвечала на все волнующие меня вопросы. Я обязательно продолжу с ней заниматься испанским.

Elena is a great teacher! Very knowledgeable and pays attention to details. Her stories are also very creative, organized, and she makes it very fun. Would definitely recommend this teacher to anyone interested in learning Russian.

Мой первый урок прошел очень интересно! Мой испанский пока что на нуле, но Елена хорошо обьясняет, приводит примеры с русского и английского (на которых я говорю), и так намного легче запоминать) Мне очень понравилось и я думаю, что буду продолжать изучать испанский с Еленой.

Elena is a great teacher. We practice useful vocabulary and grammar through her short stories. It’s a really good lesson for anyone looking to practice speaking and listening. Her teaching style is very encouraging and fun. Would definitely recommend her lessons to anyone interested in learning Russian.
