I teach French in private lessons, and I'm also a philosophy teacher in high-school and at university.
Native speaker, with a classic metropolitan accent. Now on a sabbatical, living in London.
I love to share my culture, as much as I like discovering others.
I was originally trained as en engineer, then took a Master's degree in psychology and philosophy.我的教學經歷
I like to make the lessons fun and interesting for both of us. Listening and speaking is always a great way to start, in a hands-on approach. I like every lesson to have a real-life topic, as well as specific linguistic objectives.
As a person, I'm very patient and focused on my students' needs. I try my best to understand what my students understand and where they need an explanation.我的課程內容與教學風格
First lesson: we will discuss your objectives, assess your starting point and determine how much time you can dedicate to learning French.
I will then build a tailored course-plan with an ad-hoc progression.
I like to use resources to support our lessons: videos, newspaper articles, works of art, etc.
I'm also used to writing down a summary of the language points on a shared document, so that you can come back to it in between lessons.我的教材

Another excellent lesson with Alexandre. He used visual aids to help steer the conversation in interesting and challenging directions, and gave me many useful corrections of vocabulary and grammar. He is a patient teacher, and a friendly person! Don't hesitate to book a lesson with him :)

Had a really awesome lesson today! First I had homework to do which was really interesting. Next He came prepared with great material, we did some review and then jumped right into some practical exercises. I must say I am very impressed, I felt challenged which I need and Alexandre clearly explained anything I was having difficulty grasping. I am very happy with where my lessons are going! I feel a new sense of positive motivation! I look forward to the next lesson :)
