Hi there! My name is Chithra ✨ and I'm a native Tamil speaker from India. Tamil is not just my mother tongue - it's a part of my identity, my culture, and my everyday life. I was born and raised in a Tamil speaking environment, surrounded by beautiful sounds, traditions, and heritage of Tamil Nadu. 🌸

I have completed my Diploma in Elementary Education and have over 7 years of experience teaching Tamil to students from many different countries and backgrounds. Great lesson with Chithra! Chithra reviewed and helped me correct the sentences that I translated from English. We learned about different word endings based on the subject. Chithra also said some sentences in English for me to change. Chithra explained the topic really well, I understood clearly!

Great lesson with Chithra! We used the vocabulary we learned in the last lesson to put together sentences about "likes and dislikes". Chithra had me translate many sentences to make sure that I understood how to do it!

Productive lesson with Chithra! We learned about the past and present form of "to like", about "this" and "that". We also learned about making questions. Chithra gave me many different sentences to translate to make sure that I understand the concepts. Chithra is very lively and enthusiastic!

Great lesson with Chithra! Chithra explained about the pronouns and how they change based on distance and respect. She also explained how they change based on feelings, possession, etc. Next, we put together simple sentences about "like/don't like" using all the concepts that we just learned. Chithra was very good at checking to see that I understood before moving on!
