👋 Hi! I’m Marilia, 23, born and raised in sunny Athens. I recently moved to the Netherlands 🌷 to study for my Master’s at Tilburg University 🎓.
🌍✈️🏖️ I’m an adventurous traveler who loves exploring new places. My heart belongs to Greece, especially the magical island of Syros 🏝️.
📷 I enjoy capturing landscapes and special moments through my camera lens, which helps me see the world from unique perspectives and share stories without words.
🍅🫒I adore Greek food and love preparing some delicious dishes—my favorite is souvlaki with plenty of tzatziki! 😋✨

👩🏫 I have experience teaching Greek to young children, which helped me develop patience and creativity in making lessons fun and engaging.
🎓 I hold a Sociology degree from Panteion University in Athens, where I studied how culture, society, and communication shape our world 🌍. This knowledge allows me to connect deeply with learners of all ages—whether they are beginners or advanced—and tailor lessons to fit their unique needs and goals.

📚 I use Google Docs combined with modern Greek language texts to create a structured and enjoyable learning environment. We start from zero, learning Greek words and expressions step-by-step, gradually building your vocabulary.
✍️ Through this process, we also study grammar and correct sentence structure. We complete various tasks and exercises tailored to help you master Greek flawlessly.
🗣️ The heart of the lessons is conversation, which we practice through topics you choose based on your interests.

I had my first lesson with Marilia today. She is very patient and has a nice teaching method with dialogs to read, understand and discuss. The difficulty level was perfect for me and the lesson was very smooth and pleasant.

Marilia is a very enthusiastic and approachable person. She listens to your needs and interests and adapts the lesson accordingly.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, as if you were among friends.
I am sure she will be a fantastic guide during my "Greek" journey, especially in terms of applying it to news items, as that is what I would like to work on at the moment :) Ευχαριστώ πολύ!
