Hei! I’m Silje, 33 years old, from Tønsberg, Norway. My native language is Norwegian (Bokmål). I have a deep love for traveling and meeting new people and understanding their cultures - which is why learning language is so important to me. I have lived many years abroad, including USA, Australia and Spain.
In addition to learning and teaching languages, I also enjoy photography, dance and music. I've spent several years working in International environments where English and Norwegian are used interchangeably, which has given me the fantastic opportunity to teach Norwegian to my fiends and colleagues. I'm looking forwards to be joining you on your Norwegian jour journey!我的教學經歷
I am patient, open, encouraging, and clear in my explanations. I love helping students build confidence from their very first words. I enjoy working with beginners and intermediate students, guiding them step by step while making learning engaging and fun. My experience in international environments has given me the skills to adapt to students from different cultures and language backgrounds.
Although I’m new on italki, I already have solid experience teaching Norwegian to students from different countries and levels. I know how to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment. My students describe my lessons as interactive, supportive, and well structured.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are interactive, relaxed, personalized, and are normally focused on:
- Pronunciation and speaking confidence
- Conversation practice
- Reading and discussing interesting articles and topics
- Vocabulary
- Grammar (from A1-B1)
- Norwegian culture and traditions
I use a variety of teaching materials to make lessons exciting: text books and work books, slides, audio and video files, interactive web resources and fun exercises. Whether you want to move to Norway, improve your conversation skills or just enjoy learning Norwegian as a hobby, I will help you reach your goals in a supportive and engaging way.我的教材
