I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our past sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. Since then, I have been using Skype for my classes and things work out very well. Do make sure though to have a reliable internet connection and a strong Wi-Fi.
