Guten Tag! Wie geht es Ihnen? I’m your new teacher here on italki!
My name is Bernd, I’m a native German speaker from the “Heldenstadt” Leipzig. If you don’t know what that means, I’ll be happy to explain it in our lesson – or you can take it as your first homework.
The world with its many cultures and people is my passion, which is why I love traveling and meeting learners from everywhere.我的教學經歷
I have been teaching my mother tongue since 1999 in classroom settings and switched to online teaching in 2020. Since then, I have worked with many students from different countries and backgrounds.
My teaching style is friendly yet formal, as the goal is to make you confident in the language rather than simply find a buddy – even if good rapport often comes naturally. This approach also reflects a German trait: it may take a little time to warm up, but once you do, it’s solid and lasting.我的課程內容與教學風格
I offer to cover all essential topics with modern and relevant PDF slides.
What you can expect in my lessons:
• We will move through the levels according to your needs, either by plan or spontaneously.
• We will regularly review earlier material, especially grammar.
• Special attention will be given to your pronunciation.
• We will practice the formal address (“Sie”), essential in daily and professional life.
• Whenever suitable, I will share insights about Germany and its people.
• Homework is possible but optional.
