Learn Kannada Effortlessly from a Polyglot (10+ Languages) Here's the thing about learning Kannada through English or any "bridge" language — it's slow and honestly kind of frustrating. I'm Kiran, born and raised in Bangalore, now living in Porto, Portugal. I speak around 10 to 12 languages and I've lived in seven countries.
List of Languages I speak; Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Marathi. Learning Kannada for work, a relationship, or just pure curiosity? I've probably met someone in your exact situation before and I know how to help you learn effortlessly.
I keep things relaxed. You're going to make a lot of mistakes and that's completely fine. Nobody's grading you here. I don't follow a rigid curriculum either. If you're into politics, we'll argue about politics in Kannada. Love Netflix? We'll pull vocab from whatever you're watching. Into linguistics or history? Even better. The idea is simple: we talk about stuff that actually interests you, and Kannada just starts to flow. I skip all the dry grammar-first methods that make people zone out.
I'm also a Carnatic singer, we can discuss about music and culture of Karnataka. We will not focus on textbook phrases, so you can talk to locals without freezing up. I also get into the regional side of things, how Kannada shifts across different parts of Karnataka, the slang, the dialects, etc. If you're relocating to Karnataka, I'll prep you with the local lingo and cultural nuances that nobody teaches you.
