Rashmi is an excellent Kannada teacher - she is very patient, always comes to lessons prepared, and is also great about pacing content so that it is challenging but not overwhelming. She makes the process of learning a new language really fun, and I have improved my Kannada spoken and grammar skills significantly as a result of her lessons. Thank you Rashmi!

Ajit is a fantastic teacher: very personable, attentive, attuned to detail, and very engaged. Very knowledgeable about Kannada grammar but also pragmatic about the necessity of developing conversational skills and workaday Kannada. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or brush up on their Kannada.

Girish is an incredible teacher who teaches Kannada in his own fun ways. It is also so fun when he tells me about the amazing places he goes to. He also goes to places awfully fast: one day he is in Nepal and the other he is in Ladakh.Every time I finish class, I learn so many new things about the language. The way he teaches it really just makes it stick to your head. He teaches so well that I am almost able to fluently speak Kannada with my grandmother.I look forward to the next class every time I finish one! Girish is my dearest teacher. I had a great class with Jayashree and learned a lot of new vocabulary related to a charity event I attended to support the victims of the earthquakes in Colombia and Venezuela. She created a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping me express my experiences more clearly and confidently. Jayashree explained new words and phrases in a way that was easy to understand and encouraged me to use them in conversation. I really appreciated her patience, enthusiasm, and ability to adapt the lesson to my interests. It was a very useful and enjoyable class, and I look forward to learning more with her.

So far we covered most of the important grammar to speak, Shilpa delivers complicated grammar in an accessible way, I really appreciate how she encourages me to speak even a little bit each time. Shreya is an excellent instructor. She can take my beginner understanding of the language, correct me, encourage me, and explain the reasoning well. The pace was good for me, not too slow or too fast. The format works well (she types the words into the chat) and I follow, copy, repeat, and discuss. She clearly explained the lesson goals and followed through. She can explain the literal translation into English which helps me build my understanding. She also is teaching the preferred region-specific words which are important to me.
