Jiwon is such a great teacher, I'm a beginner and she's very clear and easy to understand when she demonstrates pronunciation. I really enjoy having lessons with her!

Jiwon is such a fun and professional teacher! The lessons are always engaging, and she explains things in a way that feels very clear and approachable. Even when I have questions about more difficult topics, she’s able to explain them simply with examples that make everything much easier to understand. I really enjoy the conversational style of the classes. We talk about real-life topics in a relaxed and natural way, so it feels like genuine communication while still giving a ton of speaking practice. She creates such a positive environment that it’s easy to participate, make mistakes, and keep building confidence. Her lesson notes and review materials are also incredibly helpful. She organizes important expressions, useful sentence structures, explanations, and translations in such a clear way that reviewing afterward feels easy and effective. Every class feels productive, and I can genuinely feel myself improving over time!

I've had two lessons for travel prep to Korea with Jiwon so far. She's really good at clear and paced pronunciation which is helpful for a beginner. She's also focusing on making my lessons helpful for me specifically and making sure that the content is applicable to my trip. She's also very easy to talk to but professional and I've really enjoyed our lessons. She sends notes afterward of what we covered so it's easy to focus on taking the lesson with her and not worry about missing notes. I'll keep taking lessons with her whenever I can! Fun conversation with Jiwon! She’s super knowledgeable and explains things so clearly. I had some more complex questions, and she broke everything down in an easy-to-understand way with really good examples that made everything click. I have a lot of fun talking with her! The conversations feel natural and relatable since we talk about things happening in our lives, so the language feels very practical and useful for real-world situations. She gives plenty of opportunities to practice speaking, and the atmosphere is so positive and encouraging that it makes learning feel exciting. One thing I really appreciate is how she captures the important phrases and useful sentence structures from the conversation and turns them into a very organized and helpful reference sheet for review later. It adds so much value to the lesson and really helps reinforce what you learned. I already feel like I’m making a lot of progress!

Since I am an independent learning, I had asked Jiwon to help me practice speaking only, on my own study material, which I had sent her in advance. She did exactly this and I really appreaciated it!
