Hello! My name is Sergey and I am from Siberia, Russia. I am a certified English and Russian teacher. I love travelling, cooking, helping animals and learning languages! Yes, I am a language learner myself, that's why I know many techniques, tricks and language-hacks which can help you to learn language faster and more effectively.我的教學經歷
I use comprehensible input (CI) and TPRS, which are some of the best methods in natural language acquisition. On my lessons you don’t have to memorize bunch of words or learning grammar rules. Just sit, listen, speak and enjoy!我的課程內容與教學風格
Style update:
Since 2019 I became a fan of TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) and CI (Comprehensible Input) methods in language learning. These methods helps my students to acquire a language in the most relaxed and fun manner. I use different children stories, pictures, magazines so my students study grammar from the real content without even realizing it. Isn't it awesome?
My lessons absolutely depend on my students' needs. Also, initially I test my students to see their level, and I adapt my lessons according to it. Generally, I let my students to work in the context of their interests, because I believe that's the fastest and easiest way to learn the language.我的教材

I have done over 80 lessons with Sergey—over the course of over 3.5 years—and he is great! 👏 He was really instrumental in helping me learn the basics of Russian when I was getting started, as it can be quite a difficult language. His English is very good, so that is quite helpful. He is also very friendly and accommodating. Additionally he hosts occasional group game nights with his regular students, which are fun! If you're looking for someone to help you with Russian, especially if you are getting started (but even if you are more intermediate like me), he is a great person to help you! 🚀

I suppose it’s about time I left a text review now that I’ve finished lessons. 😈 I studied with Sergey for just over 2 years. Sergey is always enthusiastic and upbeat and he’s a fantastic teacher. In the time I studied with him I saw a definite improvement in my ability to understand written and spoken Russian. He also speaks English superbly and my classes with him were always enjoyable. Highly recommend not only signing up for lessons, but also signing up for his Patreon and joining the monthly Russian meetups!
