My wife and I have been taking lessons with Juan for a couple months and plan on continuing. He makes you think and encourages us speak a lot in our lessons which has accelerated our learning. He is fun to spend an hour with, leads helpful exercises, answers all our questions and gives a little homework to build on what we've done in class. His English is very good and he is easily able to explain different nuances in both languages. Additionally, we were fortunate enough to visit Bogota and meet Juan in person. He gave us a tour of the historic district and we practiced our Spanish at the same time. He's a good guy which makes the lessons all that much better. We highly recommend Juan.

Even though we've had over a hundred lessons, we never run out of stuff to say to each other. He's an absolute joy to talk to, which makes him one of my favorite teachers. Muchas gracias por la conversación Juan. Siempre es muy agradable hablar contigo.

Juan teaches Spanish to my kids, ages 9 and 10. He is very patient and makes learning fun. They both look forward to their time with him. He is a great teacher, and clearly has a lot of experience. He is very professional and always prompt. I would recommend Juan to anyone learning Spanish, and definitely for children. He's awesome!
