Luca Di Girolamo

Luca is by far the best teacher I’ve had on Italki. His lessons are incredibly well-structured while still being flexible and fully adapted to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. He is super well prepared he and listens very good: he picks up on repeated mistakes, explains them clearly, and helps you truly understand them, all while keeping the conversation natural and flowing. Afterwards he always gives me a transcript with the things that we learned in the session or that I didn't know. His approach is practical, very effective, and motivating. I can recommend Luca 100% without hesitation. If you seriously want to learn or improve your Italian, he’s absolutely the right choice and I will continue my studies with him.

There are many good teachers on italki, and then there's Luca. He clearly stands out, and not just in Italian. He prepares customized lessons, adapts everything to your level, and is super fun to talk to. An hour flies by, and my level of Italian has definitely improved since I started taking these lessons. Luca is an engaging teacher who is full of energy. He uses materials that are up to date and taken from Italian media ( television, interviews, books, magazines, articles). He uses these as a basis for our conversations and weaves in grammar and vocabulary as part of the lessons. We are always excited for our next lesson and you will not be disappointed if you choose to learn with Luca.

Studio con Luca da più di un anno, e lui è assolutamente il miglior insegnante che abbia mai avuto. Ho imparato moltissimo con lui: lessico, grammatica, cultura, tradizione. Oltre a essere veramente competente e sempre ben preparato, le sue lezioni sono molto divertenti, dinamiche e interessanti. È sempre così: finisco una lezione e non vedo l'ora di fare la prossima. Sono davvero molto felice di avere l'opportunità di imparare tanto con un professionista eccellente, oltre che con una persona gentile e premurosa. Grazie mille, Luca! I had an excellent first lesson. Just what I needed. Luca helped me revise but also helped me extend myself! Hopefully my progress will be good in future lessons :) Luca was very friendly, helpful and went at my level. A great teacher.
