To obtain this certificate, I was required to pass several examinations, create lesson plans to assess different skills, implement various teaching techniques, and pass a final exam. Throughout my training, I also received valuable feedback from professionals in the field.

CertTESOL - Trinity College London - 2019I graduated from a 670-hour teaching training program. Although it was aimed at teaching English, I learned a lot about teaching approaches, pedagogical techniques, and learning methods. The teaching skills I gained are universal, and I apply them to my Spanish lessons as well.

I’m a beginner in Spanish, and after taking more than 40 lessons with Marina, I can confidently say that it’s very hard to find a better teacher. She always comes well prepared and uses her own excellent materials, which are both engaging and very helpful.
Her teaching approach is very structured, and during the lessons we cover all aspects of learning: grammar, reading, speaking, and conversation practice. Marina is very calm and patient, but at the same time she always encourages me to speak and helps whenever I have difficulties.
Another thing I really appreciate is that she always sends the lesson materials afterward, so I can review everything again in my own time.
I’m really happy I found Marina as my teacher, and I truly feel that my Spanish improves with every lesson. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, supportive, and motivating Spanish teacher.

I was very nervous to have the whole lesson be in Spanish but Marina helped to reassured me that I was in a safe learning space where mistakes were ok. It felt comforting to know that I had a teacher to care to listen to me when I spoke when I felt like I was making a lot of mistakes, but she was able to take that to help me to learn how to improve and to do better. I truly appreciate her patients and for wanting to help me to get better with Spanish,
