I've been studying with Shoko さん for the past three months in preparation for a trip to Japan, and I cannot thank her enough for all the instruction she's provided! I did not have any Japanese experience, yet in just a short period, I feel I've learned so much and received such valuable speaking practice and encouragement from her. Shoko is everything I could have hoped for from a tutor. She listens patiently as I try to put what I've learned into practice, is kind and helpful in correcting mistakes, and truly goes the extra mile both during and after class to make sure my language skills are improving. I've learned so much since we started working together and I'm looking forward to continuing to study together in the new year!

I’m very happy with my lessons and I feel that I’m making real progress. Her explanations are always clear and well-organized, with lots of examples and exercises that help me understand and practice N2 grammar, even when the grammar points are difficult. The lessons are intensive and focused on learning, but I really enjoy them and always feel that I’ve learned something new.
