I am Sue-Ellen, a native New Yorker and somewhat of a globetrotter/nomad -- having lived for extended periods in China, Mexico, France and currently Germany. In my free time, I do urban exploration, forest and lake walks/bikerides, and attend myriad concerts and festivals.我的教學經歷
I have been teaching English as a Second Language since 1999. I love the opportunity it gives me to meet diverse individuals from all over the globe and to hear their unique insights and perspectives. I taught in NYC, China, Mexico City and now Berlin (5 years and counting..) tutoring business executives, company employees, retirees and recent university graduates. In Berlin, I focus on in-company & private classes both in-person and online.我的課程內容與教學風格
I teach adults (no children, no beginners) with an English level of pre-intermediate or higher. We will focus on what you wish -- conversation, vocabulary learned in context via videos, grammar review, proofreading/editing of written material, presenting, role-playing of useful situations, pronunciation, etc. I use online articles/video plus supplementary grammar handouts, etc. During the lessons, I note down pronunciation & grammar mistakes + new vocab in a Google or Word doc which you'll receive (or in the chat for the trial lesson). It serves as an important review tool. :)我的教材
