Hi! My name is Savannah! I am from the United States. I have lived all over the US in my life, and also in France. I love everything active and everything outside! I currently enjoy hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and swimming. I also love to dance, spend time with my family, and read. My absolute favorite author is Michael Crichton. I started college when I was 14 years old, studying zoo keeping. I worked with elephants for a couple of years, then spent some time living abroad in a small village in southwest France, and then decided to start my career teaching English as a Second Language here in the US. I haven't looked back since, and I am currently spending every day loving life! :) I love teaching, and I have over 18 months experience teaching English in an online setting. I have 3 TEFL certifications, with specializations in teaching English online and teaching English to children. I can help you improve your English in any area, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and listening. I can also provide you with general conversation practice - I believe that having natural conversations with native speakers is the best way to become fluent in a language. In this program, I helped 6th graders have a smooth transition into middle school. Our WEB group (all 8th graders) spent time with the kids during their first week of school and checked in on them throughout the year. We helped them do homework, talked to them about their transition, showed them around the campus, and led them in some fun games to help them get to know each other.
