Your go-to teacher for all things Greek: language, literature, culture and philosophy.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Greek and English Language and Literature (University of Athens), as well as holding a Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
Having taught students of all ages, levels and backgrounds for over a decade, I have developed a method that works almost like a panacea with the acquisition of all foreign languages, which is based on the principles of:
* Total immersion
* Active learning

Together we shall explore the magnificent world of Greek Language through a wide range of media, including but not limited to videos, songs, articles and literature.
Our classes will feel more like hanging out with a friend rather than traditional lessons. There will be constant interaction and many segments of game-based learning.
Topics and skills covered include but are not limited to:
The Greek Alphabet
Survival Greek (for travellers / tourists)
Greek Grammar and Vocabulary on topics of interest
Creative Writing in Greek (for Advanced learners)
Enriching Vocabulary through articles, videos and podcasts

Qualified Teacher Status QTS - UK Department for Education - 2017The QTS is awarded to applicants who already hold all necessary certificates / degrees that render them eligible to teach in mainstream education in the UK.
In my case, my qualifying document was my Bachelor's degree and its official recognition as a teaching certificate for Greek and English in my home country, Greece.
