Anita Faria

Anita's classes are always fun and informative. She is a great teacher who makes you feel at ease during the class. I would recommend her to everyone but especially anyone who is hesitant or nervous about learning Portuguese :)

I've been working with Anita for two months in preparation to a trip to Portugal. I would highly recommend scheduling lessons with her! She always comes prepared with plenty of exercises for us that are perfectly matched to my level of fluency. She uses Google Docs to track what I say during the lesson, which allows me to remember what mistakes I make and work towards correcting them. These lessons have been immensely helpful!

She is a great teacher who really takes your goals into consideration and pushes you to do better. I learn so much each lesson and even can't wait for the next!

Great lesson focussed on the oral part of the DAPLE exam. I'm starting to feel more comfortable about the different types of interaction that are involved, thanks to Anita.

Anita shared useful feedback from another student who had taken the DAPLE exam. She also checked with me which areas I feel I need to practice most so that she can best tailor the lessons to my needs. Her role playing during the oral exam practice helped me to understand how I could improve my own responses and, as always, she provided helpful corrections and explanations.
