I Prepare Kids & Adults For Everyday Situations. Students Say I Provide Fast Growth and Patience. I'm Leia from California. I've been teaching English as a foreign language for more than 10 years. A lot of my student who have been with me 5 years started out as beginners or from a low intermediate level. Now they are able have more conversations, travel more, improve test scores, get new jobs, and move to English-speaking countries more easily. I instruct both kids and adults. Together we will focus on clear pronunciation of the 44 sounds, build vocabulary on many topics, increase your expressions, understand the 12 grammar tenses step-by-step, and discuss readings. Want to improve today? Join me for a lesson. I will always speak clearly and correct everything. My focus is on effective communication and your development. Together we'll center on the following: pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and reading. The way to make progress is continuous engagement. It's the way you learned your first language with your mom before you ever went to school. As you speak I'll correct your pronunciation to sound more natural and better understood. You'll read and use your critical thinking skills. As you're introduced to new vocabulary and expressions I'll write them down. Grammar is necessary, but I'll explain it easily with formulas and examples and ask you express yourself in return.
