Hey i'm Dominic. I teach German and English to both beginners and advanced level students. I'm a native German speaker, and I speak English on near native speaker level. I also have a basic understanding of Hindi and Spanish. I'm good at breaking down complicated concepts in a simple way and making them more easily understandable and intuitive. For the past 10 years I have been mainly travelling, working as a photographer in Germany, Australia and India. I've recently become a partner in a tech startup building an online language learning platform, for which I'm currently designing a German course.我的教學經歷
Speaking is the best way to learn a language, so my lessons usually center around having an actual conversation in German, but I will also give you grammar instructions and help you with pronunciation as and when necessary. If you struggle with any particular grammar topic, we can of course also dedicate a whole lesson to that. Generally I'm happy to adapt myself to your needs and preferences. While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes. 我的課程內容與教學風格

A true gem. A refreshingly smart and gifted but super humble, and compassionate teacher who will guide you - patiently, to achieve your German language goals, with zero judgement. Always calm + collected, even when you get super frustrated (from building complex sentences) and start inappropriately swearing in some other random language. Thanks, man!

Excellent lesson. Dominic was interesting to talk to and had a nice ability of correcting the necessary mistakes without too much intervention so we could maintain a good flow of the conversation. He also spoke German during the entire lesson even to explain issues I was struggling with which is very helpful to me as a learner.
