Hi there!
I'm Sveta, a native Russian speaker from Moscow. My language learning process looked like this: I first learned to understand the language, then to speak it and when I was fluent already, I learned how to read, write and the very last thing was studying grammar. I speak fluently and spontaneously and don't think about grammar or pronunciation when I talk.
Why would I teach you in a different way? No reason.我的教學經歷
Jokes apart, I had learned 4 foreign languages before I realised that the best (and maybe the only one) way to truly become fluent is not by studying, but by acquisition. That's when I stopped both learning and teaching grammar.
I'm friendly, patient and expressive and know how to talk in a comprehensible way to all level students, which I am also doing on my YouTube channel, where you can find the content 100% in Russian which you will understand even if it's your first ever contact with Russian.我的課程內容與教學風格
Hence, my lessons are focused on providing you with lots of Comprehensible input, especially if you are a beginner. You are not even required to be speaking Russian, you can speak English, Spanish, Italian, German or Malayalam. I, from my my side, will be talking 100% or close to it in Russian. That's called cross-talking and this method has lots of benefits which I will gladly tell you about in our first class.
For intermediate and advanced learners the only lesson format I offer is conversation, either spontaneous, or on the topic of your choice.

My favourite italki lesson ever (and I have had many lessons over the past few months for four different languages)! Svetlana is a genuine polyglot, and her experience of learning languages is very useful if you're a language learner yourself. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone learning Russian!
