My name is Max and I'm a social worker, and have been working as such since graduation 2007. I love to teach foreigners about the Swedish language. My interests are music, literature, movies, football and all kinds of sociology, psychology (I'm a social worker...). I have lived abroad and learned a new language as an adult. I lived in Vienna for a while and learned German from scratch when I was at the age of 36. So yes, I know "that" feeling and experience. Fun and interesting, but also a bit frustrating. For example doing job interviews in a language I was not very comfortable with. First days at a job where I hardly understood anything when it came to small talk.我的教學經歷
I'm a professional social worker where the most important thing is to meet the client where he/she (in Swedish we use the gender-neutral personal pronoun "hen") is, and thereby make "hen" feel secure. I will try to transfer that same attitude when I teach people Swedish on Italkie. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I will do my very best to meet you where you are and talk about the topics that interests you. The lessons are based on conversations.我的教材

Easy to talk to, speaking practice flows easily. Max is very good at keeping conversation going by giving many open questions that encourages one to find the right words to express yourself. For beneficial speaking practice one needs a great conversationalist, that would be eager to encourage student to speak and Max is one of them. Highly recommend! 🤗
