Mi nombre es Alejandra y soy de México. Estudio biología marina y doy clases de español desde hace 2 años. Me gusta leer, la playa, los animales y la naturaleza. Conozco gran parte de mi país, su cultura y tradiciones.
Me encanta conversar, conocer personas, culturas, y transmitir lo que yo puedo ofrecer.
Hablo inglés (C1) e italiano (B1).
My name is Alejandra and I am from Mexico. I study marine bilogy and I have been teaching Spanish 2 yeaes. I like to read, I like the beach, animals and nature. I know almost all parts of my country, its culture and traditions.
I love to chat, to know new people, cultures, and to transmit what I have to offer.

Me gusta animar a mis estuiantes a que comiencen a hablar, muchas veces el estudiante "speaking" se deja de lado o se pospone por miedo o vergünza a equivocarse o a ser juzgados. Yo también pasé por eso y esa es la razón por la que intento crear una atmósfera relajada de confianza para que se sientan cómodos y se atrevan a platicar en español.
También me gusta usar diversos recursos para enseñar gramática y vocabulario.
Siempre me tomo un momento para conocer a mí estudiante, crear un diagnóstico y comenzar a armar un plan personalizado para que desarrolle sus habilidades en el idioma español de la manera más adecuada.

Mi principal objetivo es que el estudiante disfrute el proceso de enseñanza y evitar estrés y estancamiento, por ello, preparo las clases de acuerdo al nivel, edad y objetivos de cada estudiante. Tomando eso en cuenta, decido qué tipo de material usar. (audios, prácticas, conversaciones, selecciono vídeos, hojas de trabajo y lecturas, entre otros). Le explico a mi estudiante la manera en la que creo que nos convendría trabajar y escucho su opinión, si hay algún método en particular que le guste, estoy abierta a sus sugerencias.
En clases avanzadas, enfoco la clase a la temática principal seleccionada por el estudiante.我的教材

We went over a writing exercise because that's what I had asked for help with. Alejandra helped me correct my written text and explained the corrections and encouraged me to spot recurring errors, and different forms of the subjunctive. She is an excellent tutor!
