My name is Amiel and I am the most amiable teacher you can find on italki! I teach English and Filipino (Tagalog) in a fun and effective way. I love traveling and enjoy learning languages and different cultures. Being a language learner myself, I understand the difficulties in learning a new language. I've been a teacher for 15 years, both in a classroom setting and online. Over the years, I have had wonderful opportunities teaching diverse group of students from different countries. I have become proficient at designing creative and stimulating lesson, which accommodate various levels, bring a hands-on approach to learning, and keep students interested and focused. I am a patient teacher and an attentive listener. You can be sure that you are in good hands when you take my lessons. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are based on the skills and interests of my students. I assess my student first, talk about his/her goals in learning the language then decided on which materials to use. After each lesson, I give assessment and commend every progress made. A copy of the lesson is sent before and after the class to make sure that he/she can prepare and review the topics discussed.
