I discovered my love for languages a few years ago, and it has become one of my greatest passions. Learning and teaching languages has been a rewarding journey, and I’m excited to share my knowledge with you!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy writing music, practicing martial arts, and dancing. These interests keep me creative and energetic, which I bring into my teaching as well.

I have experience teaching Icelandic to foreigners, both online and offline, at different levels. I am patient, understanding, and committed to helping each student progress at their own pace. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that makes language learning enjoyable and effective.
Ich habe Erfahrung im Unterrichten von Isländisch für Ausländer, sowohl online als auch offline, und für verschiedene Niveaus. Ich bin geduldig, verständnisvoll und engagiert, jedem Schüler zu helfen, in seinem eigenen Tempo Fortschritte zu machen. I very much enjoyed my first Icelandic lesson with Aðalsteinn. I plan on lots more lessons between now and next March when I will be travelling to Reykjavik for a chess tournament. I think some previous knowledge of mine of some German was very helpful.

Aðalsteinn is an excellent teacher. I have been taking lessons for a month now and have learned many useful things. Icelandic is very difficult to learn but he is very patient and helps you to not feel overwhelmed. Highly recommend.

The lesson was good as usually. Aðalstein is a very patient teacher! We went through tasks for understanding texts among other things. I think it is a good method to get a grip of the language.

Heute sind wir noch tiefer in die Materie rund um Deklinieren (durch die Fälle) und Konjugation von Verben nach Person und Nummerus. Ich habe heute wieder sehr viel gelernt, was ich die Tage wiederholen werde, um es zu verinnerlichen, was aber nur möglich ist, weil Aðalsteinn ein Google-Dokument teilt, in das wir das Gelernte eintragen. Dies ist eine sehr gute Methode, um hinterher es einfacher zu haben, auf den Inhalt des Unterrichts zurückzugreifen.
