Hello! I'm Rio, a dual citizen from Ohio, USA, and Alberta, Canada. I'm a TEFL certified English teacher, and have nearly 4 years teaching experience helping students around the world to improve their English. I'm passionate about motivating and helping others communicate more comfortably and effectively, and have a genuine and friendly personality, and really enjoy engaging with new people in conversation. I love to travel and learn about new cultures and religions, and am always looking for and finding new things to learn and grow further in life, and creating a better, brighter future.我的教學經歷
I teach adults only, and I have a friendly, engaging style of teaching. As a language learner myself, I understand the hard work, dedication, and patience that it takes to make progress. I will evaluate your English, and then I can incorporate new vocabulary, expressions, etc for your specific needs. I teach idioms, phrasal verbs, American/Canadian slang and more, depending on your goals. Every students needs are different, so we can tailor the lesson to fit your needs, keeping it engaging and fun. I'm happy to teach the lesson based on topics and/or hobbies that are interesting to you as the student. After the class, I will send you feedback based on specific problem areas in your English. Or if you're only looking for someone to just have engaging conversations with, that is also welcome. Let's get to know each other! :)我的教材

Rio is always full of enthusiasm during the class. He helps me correct grammar problems in detail, and listens patiently to my ideas and then gives his opinions. Having classes with such a patient and energetic teacher makes me more confident and energetic. I'm looking forward to the next class.
