Tom

In English to express myself better: Tom is a fantastic teacher. He pays close attention. I never get the feeling that he is thinking about other things. He's very calm and encouraging of my efforts to express complicated thoughts. He comes up with a variety of questions and subjects to challenge my understanding and my ability to put together sentences. He's is always on time. When I get tired of talking, he makes me feel free to ask grammar questions or even questions about his own experience. This is always a good opportunity to improve my listening comprehension.

Tom is always a pleasure to talk to! My German has improved greatly thanks to his help, and with his patience and suggestions, I have grown the confidence needed to speak German. I couldn't recommend him enough!

Always a great lesson with Tom. He is patient, understanding and makes it comfortable to have a conversation with him. I really enjoy the beginning of our lesson is conversation about our week and then we use the second half of our lesson to review materials. I find all of this very helpful and useful to day-to-day life.
