Hi, I’m Sarah, a native British English speaker from Cornwall, UK. I’m passionate about languages—I speak English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish—and I love travelling, meeting new people, and sharing my love for language learning.
I earned my TEFL qualification in Greece in 2013, where I taught English to children while living with a local family. I later taught in Spain before moving to Lanzarote in 2015, where I worked as an English Assistant for a year. Since then, I’ve been teaching English online full-time, helping students worldwide improve their confidence and communication skills.

I’m a patient, supportive, and professional English teacher who believes that mistakes are a natural part of learning. My approach creates a comfortable and encouraging environment, helping you improve your skills and build confidence.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, I specialise in helping students develop natural, meaningful conversations in English. Since 2019, I’ve been teaching on iTalki, and I’ve had the pleasure of delivering over 4,000 lessons to students from all over the world.

I teach all levels. The lessons are designed to suit you, your learning style and what you would like to achieve. I will help you improve your speaking, grammar and vocabulary. I use a variety of interesting and stimulating materials including current articles and videos. I always try to get to know my students and find out what your hobbies and goals in English are so I can adapt the lessons to suit you. You will receive engaging homework after each lesson to practise and consolidate what we learn together.我的教材

Sarah is kind and warm. She is patient while I'm struggling and she corrects my speaking, which is what I wanted exactly . The lesson is well organized and covers different topics including small talk as well. Always interesting to have a lesson with Sarah.
