Specializing in **both children and adults**, I make learning Vietnamese feel as natural as picking up your mother tongue! 🧠 A graduate of the **National Language University**, I blend academic rigor with real-world practice—whether you’re preparing for travel, business, or casual chats. I have coached hundreds of students over the past ten years to speak Vietnamese. I can give you the advice you need in your 1st class.
I’ve been teaching Vietnamese and English for more than 15 years at many different centers and schools. I have experience across different fields and have taught both online and offline. I mainly work with students ranging from 3 to 67. My specialties are:

Wowowow! Hai Yen is a fantastic Vietnamese teacher who knows what she is doing. You can tell she puts in a lot of work and enjoys teaching. I requested to learn some slang I can use when I go back to Vietnam and she taught me a bunch of cool / funny phrases. She also provided a powerpoint with illustrations, spreadsheet, and audio files which are very helpful. If you are looking for a AMAZING Vietnamese teacher, look no further! Highly recommend.

Hai Yen is outstanding. Her lessons are the best use of my time each week. I learn more from her in our hour than I do in weeks of anything else I have tried. She is pleasant, prepared, patient, and incredibly present in all messages. Despite my many mistakes, she is encouraging and kind. I would encourage anyone to try her lessons. I have recommended her to my wife and would be happy to encourage anyone interested in Vietnamese to book a lesson with her. I am blessed to have her as an instructor.

Wonderful teacher! Explains everything very well. Helps you really understand what you are saying and be able to make new sentences instead of just memorizing specific phrases. Very encouraging and kind with feedback!
