As someone who has tried to learn Dari for years, but was afraid of being laughed at or made fun of for simply making mistakes, Ustaad Anwari is the most kind and caring teacher. Even if you get nervous, he always creates a comfortable environment with effective material. I really like that he answers questions so thoroughly and assigns light homework that truly helps you practice lesson material. He is a great teacher and I’d recommend him for anyone wanting to learn Dari!

Ahmad has been teaching basic English conversation to five of my Afghan friends, and we have been very happy with his lessons. He is professional, prepared and effective. The most impressive aspect of his teaching skill is that he is so encouraging! All the students are eager to attend his classes and continue with his English program. He seems to have made a connection with each student and inspires them all. His lessons are working and their English is improving. Just what they need!

Ahmad is a highly trained and patient teacher who manages to explain grammar and the context in which to use words and sentences without making it complex. His learning methods are very effective and flexible according to your needs. More specifically I asked him to focus on reading Pashto and he provided me with material that improved my reading skills and my vocabulary in a few lesson without even notice it. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Anwari was very patient and student-focused. He cared about my learning style and which learning methods best helped me. He adjusted the class to include Pashto, Dari and some Farsi. Mr. Anwari was friendly and sincerely cared about my education under his tutelage. He is a dedicated teacher! I will stay with him!

In the trial I had originally intended to book 1 hr lessons but after the first lesson I decided this wasn't sufficient to make use of Ahmad's ability and teaching skill so now take 1.5 hour lessons. He was very encouraging and told me my level of Farsi was better than my I had given myself credit for. He is also very good at highlighting your individual strengths and weaknesses and making a plan based on that, in my case we are focusing on listening and reading as those are the things I need to improve the most. Ahmad is a very kind person and I would suggest to book a trial so you can see for yourself why he has so many positive reviews.
