Lauma

Lauma is a wonderful teacher! She speaks at a level that is at the place where I am. Being able to understand mostly what she is telling me each lesson really helps build my confidence to speak the language. She is very patient and really knows how to teach Latvian. She also has access to many resources that have been very helpful to learn from. Her learning material recommendations have also been excellent.

Lauma is a wonderful teacher! She was communicative, responsive, and very knowledgeable about everything Latvian. We discussed my strengths and weaknesses, developing a plan for further study. If you would like to study Latvian, Lauma is an excellent choice :)

Great teacher!!!

I’ve been learning with with Lauma for almost 3 years. She is a very professional, patient and very creative teacher, among many others qualities. She knows what you need, depending of your goals. I started learning latvian language from zero with her and I can´t believe how much I have improved and how latvians friends are impressed about my language level.

The teacher was great, asking me in detail about the context in which I would use Latvian, as well as my learning goals. She gave me many textbooks and resources to learn Latvian. I like Lauma very much, and I am looking forward to the next class.
