Hey! 你好！¡Hola! Oi! My name is Fiona and I'm from Hong Kong. In 2019 I started travelling around Latin America. Currently I'm living in Medellín, Colombia. I'm a native speaker of Chinese and English, fluent in Spanish and learning Portuguese (now learning Vietnamese!). So trust me, I know the struggles of learning a foreign language. We can talk about travelling, psychology, philosophy, art, music or anything that interests you! I believe the key to learning a new language is to make a lot of mistakes and then learn from them.
你好！我來自香港，高中和大學時期是在澳洲生活的。 我在大學時主修心理學。 在2019年，我開始在拉丁美洲旅行。 目前我住在南美洲哥倫比亞。 我的母語是廣東話和英文，我也能說流利的西班牙語，以及在學習葡萄牙語。 我十分期待與您交談！我相信學習一種新語言的關鍵是勇敢去犯錯誤，然後從中學習。

I’m a heritage speaker with the goal of improving my Cantonese and Fiona was very encouraging from the beginning. With her guidance, I maintained confidence to speak Cantonese for as long as possible during our session and felt comfortable asking questions. The lesson felt natural and I have a better framework on how to continue my studies. Excited to continue learning with Fiona!
