Hi everyone! My name is Yuuki Kojima. I’m a community tutor from Kyoto, Japan. I've been teaching on italki for 3 years or so. I truly love it. I am not a certified Japanese teacher. However, I have 4 years of teaching experience under my belt at a Japanese cram school. I've taught Japanese students English and Japanese in the school. Additionally, I've been doing a lot of a language exchange with people living in other countries. I'm a frequent traveler. I've been to 10 different countries so far.
みなさん、こんにちは。私のなまえはこじまゆうきです。京都しゅっしんのコミュニティーチューターです。italkiで二年以上教えています。この仕事が本当に好きです。プロの先生ではありませんが、学習塾で4年の教職歴があります。日本人に英語と日本語を教えました。
またいろんな国の人々と言語交換をしてきた経験があります。私は頻繁に旅行します。今まで10カ国に行ったことがあります。
我的教學經歷
FOUR key elements: ①Making sure you speak as much as you possibly can. I can also get the ball rolling so that you feel comfortable speaking. ②Setting up few easy goals that help you find meanings in your language journey! ③Active learning rather than passive learning. I firmly believe that there's nothing better than taking actions on your own and moving forward. ④Most importantly, to keep reminding yourself of the enjoyment part of language journey! My class is full of fun and laugher! Bring some tea or coffee!

~ Teaching style~
I teach in a relaxed and friendly style.
Please do let me know if you want me to correct you on the spot from any perspective like pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, etc.
Mistakes are welcomed!
All levels are extremely welcomed! I can explain both in Japanese and English.

Yuuki is an amazing tutor! Without me even realising, we have advanced so far together and completed the beginner material already! As always Yuuki san helps me with my Japanese speech a lot. He is great at speaking to whatever level you are and keeping the conversation flowing naturally. He has started to explain things to me in a slightly more complicated manner and will repeat the question in a more simple way if I am struggling. Helps me alot whenever I ask him to explain something

Yuuki san is a brilliant teacher. He speaks to my level and makes things as simple as possible for me which is exactly what I need. He gives me plenty of chances to form sentences myself and think through any issues I may have. When I need corrected he is always quick with helping me. Highly recommend
