Γεια σας! I’m Lilia, a linguist and Greek language specialist with a BA in Greek Philology and an MA in Linguistics. My work as a grammar book author, dictionary compiler, translator / editor, and researcher has given me deep insight into Greek’s structure, vocabulary, and cultural richness. My work on several languages has given me the skills to know exactly where to focus based on your native tongue. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, you want to communicate with the people around you or your sweetheart, or to explore Greece’s heritage, I’ll help you master the language with clarity and confidence. Let’s turn your goals into fluent conversations!
I will listen to your use of the Greek language and offer advice or I can leave it to you to decide what you want to learn and how. I will strive to share my love for Greek to keep your motivation high, which is number one in language learning, do you agree? I will give you tips what to say and what not, share stories, we will listen to songs, read literature, talk about this and that, etc. I believe that teaching is a highly rewarding profession as you see your students grow and become more confident day by day. ** Sorry, I do not teach kids or teenagers.

I successfully passed my B1 exam in January 2026!
I have been studying with Lilia since January 2025. Although I wasn't a complete beginner when we started, it was with Lilia that I began my intensive exam preparation.
