Learn ENGLISH with a TESOL & TEFL certified Native English Teacher. My name is Tola and I am a language/accent fanatic. I specialize in teaching English and Spanish. I lived in Madrid, Spain for about 6 months during a student exchange program and fell completely in love with the language and culture. From that moment, I knew that language would be forever a part of my life. Language learning has been my passion since I was a child. And I enjoy sharing this gift with anyone interested in learning! Throughout my career journey I've worked with students of ALL ages. I truly believe it is never too late to learn a language, as long as you’re committed and keep a positive attitude! In my free time enjoy reading, writing , dancing, and traveling! I've worked with all ages , including young children so I am patient & understanding. I remember what it was like as a student trying to learn different languages, sometimes I felt overwhelmed. I like to introduce things to students at a pace that feels right for them. I always follow up with an exercise to ensure that they are retaining just as much as they are consuming. I have several years' experience teaching online so I understand that teaching virtually can be challenging to maintaining one's attention. Rather than "lecture-style" I like to present an outline of topics to introduce, then begin with a warm up and ask the student questions with ways to engage them right from the onset!
