Mi nombre es Selena y soy ecuatoriana.
Tengo un título universitario en Educación Básica y una maestría en Psicopedagogía. Desde los 16 años he dado clases de idiomas y hablo inglés desde los 8 años. Adoro viajar y he tenido la oportunidad de viajar un poco, así que tengo muchos temas de conversación!

My name is Selena and I’m from Ecuador.
I’m a professional teacher, I hold a Bachelors of Education and a Master’s in Educational Psychology. I’ve been teaching languages since I was 16, and I’ve spoken English since I was a child.
I love traveling and had the chance to explore different parts of the world, so I always have plenty to talk about!我的教學經歷
El centro del espacio de aprendizaje que se creará es basado en los intereses y metas que se propone cada estudiante. Por un lado , al momento de aprender un idioma es fundamental desarrollar las 4 habilidades básicas, es decir el leer, escribir, hablar y escuchar. Por otro lado, este proceso no debe ser aburrido ni apagar las ganas de los estudiantes para aprender, por eso me gusta crear ambientes de aprendizaje basados en los gustos de los estudiantes para potencializar sus habilidades y solventar sus problemas de una forma entretenida y muy entusiasta. 我的課程內容與教學風格
Para crear el método de enseñanza es fundamental conocer las afinidades con las que cuenta el estudiante para crear un espacio acorde a sus metas y a sus dificultades. Me gustan las clases prácticas por eso es que siempre empleo diferentes recursos multimedia con los diferentes temas del interés del estudiante para no solo fortalecer sus conocimientos en el idioma, sino también crear espacios donde el pueda exponer sus ideas de forma libre. Pues en este proceso aprenderemos y compartiremos nuestros conocimientos para cumplir los objetivos que se propongan de una forma práctica para que los conocimientos sean significativos y se puedan aplicar en varios espacios.我的教材

We have been working with Selena for a while now and she has been fantastic. She is engaging, energetic and really knows how to work with my sometimes brooding teenage son. She does a great job drawing my son out and keeping him involved.
She is very reliable and professional. She also adapts easily and can pivot to whatever topic or skill we want to focus on, whether it’s conversation, grammar, or something school related.

3rd proper lesson and 4 including the trial lesson. From the Trial lesson, I knew Selena was the best teacher for me and I have not looked back. :-)

My teenage son really enjoys lessons with Selena. He likes how she speaks clearly and makes him feel comfortable to talk. I especially appreciate her upbeat energy which is perfect for motivating my low energy teenager. She’s also very flexible and open to me suggesting activities. Overall, she creates a positive, encouraging atmosphere that makes learning Spanish enjoyable and effective for my son.
