Hello! My name is Lady, a bilingual tutor from Venezuela, living in Colombia. I believe in the power of communication through languages. I am dynamic and creative with +1 year of experience teaching Spanish, I will help you no matter if you are a beginner or advanced. From everyday to professional vocabulary.
In my spare time I like to paint with watercolors, chalkboards, go for walks, and play with my cats (they may appear at some point in the background in our class).

I am an accountant, I worked in gastronomic and multinational companies. This has allowed me to have a wide vocabulary that I can share with you.

I am a firm believer that everything you see in your Spanish classes should be used in real life. I prepare my classes in advance and customize them according to your needs. If you prefer to use textbooks I also have that option.

How to teach Spanish to foreigners course - ACLingua - 2024I gained a deep understanding of Spanish grammar, which is essential for effectively teaching the language to non-native speakers. This includes understanding verb conjugations, sentence structure, and other grammatical rules.
The course covered various teaching methodologies and approaches tailored to teaching Spanish, online teaching and giving feedback skills. I learned how to plan and structure effective language online lessons.

At the end of the course, I acquired the skills to become a Spanish tutor and was able to start an online teaching business model. I was asked to practice some real-time clases with my tutor and with students assigned for the institution. Trained to tech grammar, conversation, listening and writing to foreign students, in addition to that I was provided with the basics to teach to DELE exams. I have helped students to pass their DELE exams.

¡Me encanta las clases con Natha! Nathaly has been helping me prepare for the DELE B2 exam. She started by figuring out in which areas I need the most help and making a clear plan to better those. She knows the necessary prep for the exam, as well as helpful tips. I like that she not just gives me corrections but also recommendations as well as compliments. Apart from that she switches between more 'serious' practice and more informal conversations about exam topics to make me feel more relaxed. I already notice a difference in my speaking and writing abilities. Her classes have made me feel more confident and prepared for the exam!

I know I’m making progress with my classes with Nathaly because I have a wife who speaks fluent Spanish, and has told me how much I’m progressing. I plan on continuing classes with Nathaly for many reasons.
1) She is kind and patient with my own learning pace, and I need that.
2) She has an excellent grasp of the English language as well, which really helps me because she can explain to me in English the things I’m not grasping in Spanish.
3) She always comes prepared with multiple options for our classes.
