Spanish teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience I love all about language (the acquisition of words, phrases and sounds in children, and also in students that want to learn a second language). I love books. I love making them (creating an idea, writing or editing, working with designers and illustrators, the printing process and the art of bookbinding), and reading them, of course! I also like art, design and travelling. I am a mom, I have an 8 years old boy and love spending time with him. So I like also maternity topics! :) such as education, games... I have worked in the direction, coordination and dictation of Spanish classes as a foreign language in different Spanish schools for many years. I have also been in charge of the organization of cultural and tourist activities, and the promotion of Spanish programs in Buenos Aires. Then I continued teaching as a private tutor. In total I have more than 10 years of experience. I am also the author and editor of various teaching materials for learning Spanish as a foreign language. I offer conversation-focused lessons. I work in order to develop the Spanish language through a communicative approach. Students can work on the four major abilities: reading, listening, writing and oral. Students learn and practice Spanish working with written exercises, comics, listening songs, playing games, having conversations related to diverse topics, role plays, reading different kinds of texts. I think that learning a language can be fun!

She is so patient and is very good at explaining grammar concepts that are new to me, or that I don't understand very well, so I appreciate her patience and experience. I am also benefiting from working on handouts that Lore has prepared for me to help broaden my understanding of complex Spanish grammar, which I need to increase my fluency.

Lorena's a wonderful teacher & I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with her! She's very patient and creates a safe learning environment for her students - I find her lessons well-structured and aligned with my learning goals. Her lessons for me are conversation-focused for 30min with her providing prompts and discussion topics and the other 30min are focused on building up my grammar. I'd highly recommend lessons with her!

Lorena ist eine sehr interessierte, äußerst sympathische Gesprächspartnerin, die von Anfang an dafür gesorgt hat, dass die Konversation fließt und hilfreich und behutsam korrigiert. Ohne dass wir ein konkretes Thema vorherbestimmt hatten, verging die Stunde wie im Fluge und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Es ist eine echte Bereicherung, sich mit Lorena zu unterhalten und bin sehr motiviert, mir von ihr weiter bei meinem noch etwas holperigem Spanisch helfen zu lassen.
