I have had 90 lessons with Julio now - and I think that speaks for itself! He is such an engaging and motivating teacher who has massively helped me improve my Spanish and take it to the next level. Over the past year he has helped me prepare for exams, improve my accent and speaking abilities and gain a much deeper understanding of Mexican Spanish and the beautiful culture and history Mexico has to offer! Julio always comes prepared for the lessons and is very patient and explains things so clearly with fantastic examples that make it easy to remember what you've just learned! Every lesson is always personalised to suit my way of learning and the goals that I have. The teaching tools that he uses and the feedback that he gives at the end of every lesson are amazing. He is an individual with rich life experience and I have learned more than just Spanish from him. The lessons are so fascinating that I always can't wait for the next one! Another great lesson with Julio! As always, he is patient, encouraging, positive, and fun to talk to. :) When I first started, I was so nervous speaking Spanish and kept second-guessing myself. But Julio made me feel comfortable and created a space where I wasn’t afraid to make mistakes, and that has made all the difference. Julio is awesome! He is kind, cheerful and able to make you feel immediately comfortable, which makes learning with him that much more motivating. His classes are structured and he puts a lot of thought into making sure the student gets the most out of it. You really feel like you’re getting a work out in the “gym del habla”and will finish classes feeling challenged and refreshed!
