Hi, I’m Meg.
I’ve been teaching Japanese for over 12 years and have helped 1,000+ learners. I’m also a certified immigration lawyer (Gyoseishoshi), supporting foreigners in Japan with visas, residency, and company setup.
I combine language and legal knowledge to help people enjoy learning Japanese and live safely in Japan. My lessons focus on practical, natural Japanese and cultural tips.
On YouTube (Simple Japanese Listening with Meg), I share story-based videos for beginners and intermediates. On Instagram, I post info on daily life, visas, and more.

Today I was easily able to follow along with the story text during the lesson, including almost all of the kanji. It was excellent practice and something I wasn't able to do until very recently, so the improvement is obvious. Arigato!!
