Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Haruka.
こんにちは！わたしのなまえははるかです！
I'm 26 years old and a native Japanese speaker. I was born and raised in Tokyo.
I like to eat, sing, travel, exercise, and I love talking with different people!
When I was a university student, I played lacrosse for 4 years.
I get excited when I can experience new values and ways of thinking through conversation.
That's why I decided to become an italki teacher.
Let's learn Japanese and have lots of conversations together!我的教學經歷
I have a teaching license. When I was a university student, I majored in education. I spent two months doing practical training at an elementary school and a junior high school.
Using this experience, I aim to teach in a way that is easy to understand, paying close attention to the feelings of those learning the language.

My lessons are based on "talking" a lot. Any topic is OK!
I believe that having lots of conversations is the best way to learn a language.
A relaxed environment and having fun help improve memory.

中学校教諭第一種免許（英語） - 東京都教育委員会 - 2021大学での教育に関する授業の単位取得と、実際に中学校に通い、約1か月間、英語に特化した教育実習を行った。この資格により、英語の文法を説明できるため、日本語の文法でも関連付けて説明することが出来る。また、英語を話す生徒には英語で説明することが出来る。

1st session. Haruka-san has good energy. She's able to keep the conversation going by asking a lot of questions. I had to leave our session early and she was kind of enough to spend extra time to send me some notes and feedback about the new words and corrections. Thanks for the conversation!

My first lesson with Haruka was so good! I felt comfortable throughtout our conversation and I learned some basic Japanese expressions in my first ever Japanese lesson, which is quite exciting ! I'm looking forward to the next one! Arigatou!!!

Haruka(san) does a great job of customizing lessons to fit my needs! She always quizzes me on past material at the beginning of class, and her positive attitude helps keep me motivated. Her teaching methods have been very effective thus far and I always find myself looking forward to the next lesson. If you're a beginner hoping to get some more practice, look no further!
